ASHLAND, OH - Ashland University’s Coburn Gallery and Art Club have established Art Saturdays, an educational and creative experience for children.

Art Saturdays will be offering classes on Sept. 30 titled “T-Rex Can Draw” from 10:30 a.m. to noon and Nov. 4 titled “Giant Reptilian VS Painting” from 10 a.m. to noon.

“T-Rex Can Draw” will have young artists ages 4 to 8 years old exploring creative approaches to perspective drawing with a dinosaur twist. This event is free but registration is required prior to this Art Saturdays activity.

“Giant Reptilian VS Painting” will explore the art of surrealism while expanding the young artists painting skills. The Nov. 4 class is for children ages 9-13 years old with a $5 art fee per child. All supplies are included and class sizes are limited.

Classes are located in Room 346 located in the Center for the Arts on the Ashland University campus. For more information or to register your child for classes, contact the Coburn Art Gallery at 419.289.5652.
