Crestview Cougars Upset Monroeville Eagles, 26-6

ASHLAND, OH - The Cougars pull off the upset over the Eagles to remain in the playoff hunt.

After a scoreless first quarter, Crestview found momentum on both sides of the ball. The Cougar offense scored two touchdowns in the second quarter and the defense intercepted two Monroeville passes. The Cougars continued their dominance in the second half over the Eagles scoring touchdowns on their first two possessions. Crestview upsets Monroeville at home 26-6 to remain in playoff contention.

Crestview quarterback Jay Oswalt was the engine that drove the machine for the Cougar offense. Oswalt completed 10 of 13 passes for 17 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 54 yards and two scores.
